Specialists and officials affirmed that Latin American exports will even triple in Latin America and urged industrial SMEs to diversify the production matrix in order to take advantage of the new markets that are opening, and they put Asia and Africa as engines of this commercial opening. The order includes the promotion of sales with greater added value and not the reduction of prices, and is tied to the need for the generation of dollars that the country is going through.

Latin America plans to double or triple its exports and that is why it is important to diversify products and destinations ", affirmed the undersecretary for the promotion of Trade and Investments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pablo Sívori, who raised a panorama where exports" will continue to grow, with Africa and Asia as engines."

Sivori analyzed that Argentina should achieve "export greater added value" in relation to the volume of commodities in the percentages of sales abroad each year, and considered that"a more diversified export matrix will achieve a higher level of employment and wages ”.

The proposal was made within the framework of 2nd SME Industrial Congress which takes place this week at the Somos Industria event. The panel analyzed the insertion of SMEs in the international market, moderated by Carina Ianni, representative of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Industrial Union of the Province of Buenos Aires (UIPBA). Different officials and specialists participated there, explaining the importance of being able to project sales to other countries.
